Who we are and what this notice covers
FirmIntel ("we", "us") is based in British Columbia, Canada and operates this website. This notice explains how personal information is handled in connection with our public website, enquiries and demo bookings.
This notice covers website visitors. It does not replace the separate service, confidentiality and data-processing agreements that will govern customer subscriptions or pilot deployments. An initial demo uses fictional data; no confidential law-firm financial records are needed.
Privacy Contact: Mohammad Shahidian. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@firmintel.ai.
Information you provide
When you contact us or request a demo, we receive the information you choose to provide. This may include your name, email address, firm, role, message and appointment details. We use that information to respond to you, arrange and administer meetings, and discuss your interest in FirmIntel.
Please do not include client names, confidential matter details, trust records, financial exports or other sensitive firm information in public enquiries or booking notes. Appropriate arrangements for any future pilot must be agreed separately before firm data is shared.
Website information and cookies
Our website is hosted through Wingz. Its published pages include analytics that record page views, referring websites, landing pages and campaign tags, device category and viewport width, contact-link clicks, time on page, scroll depth, and section views and viewing time. These records help us understand how visitors use the website. Requests to website and scheduling services also communicate technical information such as an IP address and browser request information to the provider delivering the service.
The analytics uses a randomly generated visitor identifier in local storage and a session identifier and visit information in session storage. These are browser storage technologies, even though the analytics does not use cookies. Local storage remains until it is cleared; session storage lasts for the browser tab’s session. You can clear or restrict website storage using your browser settings. This does not itself delete information already received by the provider.
Calendly loads when you open demo scheduling and uses its own cookies and similar technologies. Its booking interface provides privacy information and controls for optional technologies, which may include personalisation, interaction measurement and marketing. You can use those controls and your browser settings to manage your choices. Restricting cookies or storage may affect scheduling functionality.
Scheduling and service providers
We currently use Calendly to arrange demos. Information you enter into its booking interface is processed by Calendly and shared with us to administer your appointment. Calendly’s own privacy notice explains its practices: Calendly Privacy Notice.
Service providers support website hosting, analytics and the contact form (Wingz), scheduling (Calendly), and email or calendar communications. Contact links open your email application; messages you send are handled through email services and received at FirmIntel’s contact address. Messages sent through the form on our Contact page are delivered to FirmIntel through Wingz. Information is used to respond to enquiries, arrange demos and manage related follow-up.
Information may be processed or stored outside British Columbia or Canada by the providers involved in delivering these services. In those locations it may be subject to local laws and lawful access by public authorities. This notice does not promise Canadian-only storage.
Retention can vary according to the purpose of the record, ongoing correspondence or scheduling needs, applicable legal requirements and the provider’s practices. Browser-storage duration is described above. Contact our Privacy Contact for information about retention of a particular record or to request deletion; applicable requirements and exceptions may affect the response. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
We may also disclose information when required by applicable law or valid legal process, or where lawfully necessary to protect rights and address misuse.
Your choices and requests
You can contact us to ask about the personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, raise a privacy concern, or ask about withdrawing consent or deleting information. The rights available and any exceptions depend on applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Where processing depends on your consent, you may withdraw that consent subject to applicable legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice. We will explain any consequences for the service you requested. Requesting a demo is not, by itself, an agreement to receive unrelated marketing messages.
Send requests to hello@firmintel.ai. We will respond in accordance with applicable requirements. You may also raise a concern with the privacy regulator that applies to your situation.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as our practices change. We will post the revised notice on this page with a new effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before using personal information for a new purpose.
