Technically, what FirmIntel is.
This is the page the partner forwards to the firm's IT director, not the page the partner reads. Plain language, six sections, no marketing. Linked from the colophon, not the navigation.
Read-only adapters.
FirmIntel connects to the firm's existing practice management and accounting systems through standard OAuth2 where the upstream supports it; scheduled polling otherwise. Nothing in the firm's books is rewritten by FirmIntel. The list of currently supported systems is provided under NDA during engagement.
Single-tenant by default.
Each firm is provisioned its own database tenancy. Row-level security enforces that no row crosses the firm boundary. Audit logging on every read, retained per the firm's policy.
Where the data lives.
Canadian firms hosted in ca-central. American firms hosted in us-east. No cross-border duplication without explicit firm consent, recorded in writing.
Posture, not promises.
Encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). SSO via SAML 2.0 or OIDC. 2FA on all human accounts. SOC 2 Type II underway with a defined attestation date — provided in the engagement, not on this page.
Rules versioned with effective dates.
Every rule (TR001–TR008 and firm-defined extensions) traces to a specific section of professional conduct, by jurisdiction. The auditor receives the same view of the rules as the partnership.
Firm data is firm property.
On engagement end, the firm receives a complete export in standard formats (CSV, JSONL, SQL dump) and the tenancy is wound down within a defined window. The firm leaves with everything it brought, and everything it built.
A formal Security & Compliance Brief is provided in engagement, signed under NDA. This page is the public summary.
